HOW TO GET THE BEST OF OUR DOORS

• The doors must be horizontally stacked on a flat and dry surface.
• The doors must not be stored in direct sunlight.

FIXING

• 2.5 mm space must be provided on all sides of the door shutter. This is to accommodate minor movements of the door frames.
• Hinges must be aligned before fitting the door. If alignment is not done correctly, doors can bend.

• All four sides of the doors must be primed or sealed with wood sealant at the earliest. If cutting on the sides for hinge fitting is done after priming or painting, make sure this area is sealed or primed again.
• Bottom portion of door must be painted before the fitting.
• The bathrooms doors must be fitted with teak or hardwood lipping at the bottom to prevent moisture absorption. Guarantee for the bathroom door is void if lipping is not provided.

FIXING

• Check the doors for defects and damage immediately upon receipt.
• The doors must be kept dry at all times.
• To reduce the risk of colour change do not store veneered and pre-finished doors in direct sunlight.
• The door is designed for internal use only.
• It is made from wood and like all other timber based materials it can be adversely affected by moisture.
• If exposed to water or high humidity then it may discolour or distort.
• Do not hang the doors immediately after plastering After hanging in new houses, freshly plastered rooms, kindly leave the doors half open to allow air circulation until the house is completely dried out.
• If the door has to be trimmed to width to fit, equal amounts must be removed from each side. If the door has to be trimmed in length, equal amounts must be removed from the top and bottom.
• The trimming tolerance is 12mm per side. (Height and Width wise)
